❌ Conditions we can’t treat
Medical emergencies (like trouble breathing or severe injuries)
Mental health emergencies (like suicidal thoughts or harming behaviors)
Infections that need an in-person exam or testing, such as:
Pneumonia
Ear infections (unless the parent has access to a remote device that allows the physician to assess the ear drum)
Strep throat (unless the parent is able to use our internal diagnostic)
Urinary tract infections (unless the patient has had urine sample collected and sent for culture)
❌ Services we don’t offer
Treating children without a legal guardian present
Refilling long-term or maintenance prescriptions
Prescribing controlled substances (like ADHD medications or sleep aids)
Ordering lab tests (for now)
⚠️ Prescribing antibiotics
We won’t prescribe antibiotics unless we’re confident it’s safe to do so — and we’ll always recommend in-person follow-up when needed.
✅ Common illnesses & symptoms (urgent care)
We can help evaluate and guide care for:
Fevers
Rashes
Coughs, colds, and congestion
Sore throats
Stomach bugs (vomiting or diarrhea)
Pain or burning when peeing
Mild head bumps
Minor cuts, scrapes, and burns
Constipation
Pink eye
Bug bites or stings
Headaches
Other mild illnesses that don’t need an in-person exam but can be diagnosed through chat, videos and photos
✅ General pediatric concerns
We also support you with:
Newborn and baby care (feeding, sleeping, safety)
Toddler milestones and potty training
Concerns about your child’s development
Behavioral or emotional concerns (we’ll help guide you to the right next step — we don’t provide therapy ourselves)
✅ What we do on our platform
We take your child’s history through chat, and if needed, use photos, videos, or audio to help assess.
Our medical team will make a care plan with you — this might include home care, a prescription, or guidance on where to go next.
If needed, we’ll guide you to the right level of care, like your pediatrician, urgent care, or the ER.
We can prescribe short-term medications, like antibiotics, when appropriate. However, prescriptions are done at the discretion of our physicians and according to our clinical guidelines and we do not guarantee that you will receive a prescription if you request one.
